Confirm your insurance covers rented equipment operations
Review the equipment listing for any noted limitations or special requirements
Check the equipment's condition photos before accepting delivery
Ensure your job site can safely accommodate the equipment
Discuss any questions about equipment operation with the owner

DURING YOUR RENTAL

Safe Operation Guidelines

Follow these rules every time you operate rented equipment.

Always perform a walk-around inspection before each use

Follow all manufacturer operating guidelines and load limits

Never allow unlicensed or untrained operators to use the equipment

Keep a safe distance from power lines, trenches, and unstable ground

Wear appropriate PPE — hard hat, steel-toe boots, high-vis vest, gloves

Report any mechanical issues to the owner immediately

Document any incidents with photos and notify Equipt support

Never operate equipment under the influence of drugs or alcohol

RETURNING EQUIPMENT

Return Checklist

Clean the equipment of excess debris and mud
Take return condition photos as required by the platform
Report any damage honestly — the photo documentation protects both parties
Return equipment on time to avoid late fees
Ensure all attachments and accessories are returned
